This hand made wall clock has an original art of two puffins drawn on it. I named this work "Pistols at Dawn", as these two puffins had just finished a huge dispute over a nesting burrow, and looked like they were squaring up for a duel!. Taken from a photo I took last year on the Brough of Birsay, Orkney, it is drawn on a shallow dish turned into the beech wood, it is mostly a pyrography artwork, though I have used a little red water colour to pick out their eyes. Hand made from beech wood, I have used small local beach pebbles to mark the numerals, and black painted metal hour, minute and second hands.
This circular clock is a x 240mm diameter and 40mm thick, has a quiet ticking quartz movement which uses one AA battery (not supplied), and is ready to hang on your wall.
